Returns
Eligibility Period
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Condition Requirements
To qualify for a return, your item must be:
- Unused – in original, sellable condition
- Undamaged – no scratches, dents, missing parts, or other damage
- Complete – all original packaging, tags, hardware, and accessories must be included
Important for large items (sheds, mowers, generators, BBQ, pergolas): Once assembled or used, these items cannot be returned unless defective.
Non-Returnable Items
The following types of items cannot be returned:
- Any item that has been used, assembled, installed, or shows signs of wear
- Products missing original packaging, parts, or instructions
- Items damaged due to improper handling or assembly after delivery
- Final sale or clearance items (if clearly marked at time of purchase)
- Custom or special-order items
Restocking Fee
Due to the size, weight, and shipping complexity of large items:
- Small items (notebooks, etc.) → No restocking fee
- Large/heavy items (sheds, riding mowers, generators, BBQ, pergolas, etc.) → A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for all non-defective returns (change of mind, ordered by mistake, no longer wanted)
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, contact our customer support team at support@notebookse.shop. Please provide:
- Your order number
- Date of purchase
- Product name
- Reason for return
- Clear photos of the item (if damage is claimed)
Once your return request is approved, you will receive a return authorization and shipping instructions.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, or damage during transit) → We will arrange pickup and cover all return shipping costs. No restocking fee applies.
- For all other returns (change of mind, ordered by mistake, no longer wanted) → You are responsible for return shipping costs. For large/heavy items, return shipping can be expensive. Please consider this before purchasing.

Refunds
Inspection and Approval
Once we receive your returned item (or confirm pickup for large items), our team will inspect it within 2 business days. You will receive an email notification confirming whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
Refund Processing Time
If approved, your refund will be processed within 2 business days after the approval date. The refund will be issued to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or other method used at checkout via Stripe).
Refund amount breakdown:
- Full product price
- MINUS 15% restocking fee (for large items only, on non-defective returns)
- Return shipping costs paid by you are not refundable
When Will the Refund Appear in My Account?
After we process the refund, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer:
- Credit/debit cards: 3 to 7 business days
- Stripe payment methods: Up to 10 business days in some cases
If you have not seen the refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank or card provider first, then reach out to us if needed.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your credit card company (it may take time before a refund is officially posted)
- Contact your payment provider (Stripe-related delays are rare but possible)

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please follow these steps:
- Return the original item following our return policy above
- Wait for your refund to be processed (within 2 days after approval)
- Place a new order for the desired item on our website
Damaged or Defective Items
What to Do
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with missing parts:
- Contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery
- Email support@notebookse.shop with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos showing the damage or defect
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos of the shipping packaging (if available)
Resolution Options
Depending on the situation, we will offer one of the following:
- Full refund (original payment method) – no restocking fee
- Replacement (same item, subject to availability) – we cover all shipping costs
- Partial refund (if damage is minor and you wish to keep the item)
- Replacement parts (if only certain components are damaged)
Do not discard the original packaging or attempt to assemble a damaged item until we have guided you through the next steps.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order:
- You may cancel within 2 hours of placing the order at no charge
- After 2 hours but before shipment, a cancellation may still be possible – please contact us immediately
- Once the order has been shipped, our standard return policy applies (30-day return window, customer pays return shipping for non-defective returns, restocking fee applies for large items)

- Do not assemble until fully inspected
- For sheds, pergolas, and large equipment, ensure you have adequate space and proper foundation before ordering
